What are shipping charges?
Shipping charges vary based on how you place your order and the size of your order. For applicable orders, shipping is $3 per case, up to a maximum shipping charge of $100 per order.
How do you ship the chocolate in warmer months?
We take extra care to help protect your chocolate when temperatures rise. During warmer months, orders are packed with insulating materials designed to help maintain product quality while in transit.
During periods of extreme heat, shipments may be temporarily delayed to help protect the integrity of your chocolate.
Once your order arrives, we recommend moving it to a cool, temperature-controlled location right away to help keep your chocolate in its best condition.
How fast will our order arrive?
Most orders ship within 5 business days. Larger-volume orders may require additional processing time of up to 10 days. You will receive an estimated delivery date on your order confirmation.
Do we need to be there to sign for delivery?
While a signature may not always be required, we strongly recommend having someone available to receive your delivery.
Chocolate is temperature-sensitive, so you’ll want someone there to inspect the shipment and move the product to a cool, temperature-controlled location as soon as possible. A little planning helps ensure your chocolate arrives and stays in great condition.
How should we store chocolate before distributing it?
To keep your chocolate fresh and tasting its best, store it in a cool, dry place, away from heat, moisture, direct sunlight, and strong odours.
Do not refrigerate, as changes in temperature and moisture can affect its appearance and quality. Proper storage is critical to ensuring your products are ready to enjoy when it’s time to distribute them.
What if something arrives damaged or missing?
We want to make sure your order is right! If any products arrive damaged or missing, please contact your fundraising representative or call the Customer Solutions team at 1.800.461.1957 within 48 hours of delivery. Reaching out promptly allows us to review the issue and help determine the appropriate next steps.
What is your return policy?
Because chocolate is a food product, we do not accept returns unless there is a product quality issue.
If you have concerns about the quality of your product or questions about your order, please contact our Customer Solutions Department at: 1.800.461.1957. We’ll be happy to review the situation and help determine the next appropriate steps.
What if the chocolate doesn't sell?
Our chocolate is designed to be easy to sell, but we understand that every fundraiser is different. Depending on your order size and credit terms, your group may be eligible to return unopened, undamaged cases within 45 days of delivery. Returned product must be in re-sellable condition, and a return fee may apply.
Return eligibility varies, so please contact your fundraising representative to review the options available for your order.
All online orders placed through our online store are final sale and not eligible for returns.
When do we pay for the products?
Payment depends on your group’s order and approved payment terms. For orders that do not qualify for credit terms, including orders placed through our online shop, payment is required at the time of purchase. If your group qualifies for credit terms, you'll receive an invoice for your order, with payment typically due within 30 days of the invoice date for approved accounts.
Who collects money from sellers?
Each fundraising group is responsible for collecting money from its participants. To keep things organized and running smoothly, we recommend using a fundraising coordinator or campaign lead to oversee product distribution, track payments, and collect funds from sellers. Setting clear expectations and payment deadlines from the start can help make the collection process easier for everyone.
When will my credit card be charged for the initial shipping?
Your credit card will be charged once your order is approved for processing.
Do you offer products that are free from nuts?
Yes. World’s Finest Chocolate is peanut free and we also offer a nut-free option. We recognize that food allergies are an important consideration, especially when fundraising in schools and other community settings, which is why we offer options designed to meet a variety of needs.
For complete ingredient and allergen information, please review the product facts for the specific product you’re considering.
How do you help ensure that products labeled free from a specific allergen meets those standards?
We take allergen labeling seriously. We closely monitor all product ingredients and follow current food-labeling requirements to ensure our packaging accurately reflects each product.
We regularly sample and test ingredients from our suppliers to help ensure reliability and consistency. For the most current allergen information, always refer to the product packaging and applicable Product Facts page.
How will we benefit from using a peanut-free facility?
Food allergies are an important consideration, particularly for schools and youth organizations. Many schools and other facilities have adopted peanut-free policies to help reduce the risk of peanut exposure.
What does peanut-free mean?
Being a peanut-free facility means we do not produce products that contain peanuts, and peanuts or peanut by-products are not permitted in our facilities.
We take established precautions to help maintain our peanut-free environment and are committed to providing clear, accurate allergen information so you can make informed choices for our group.
Please note that peanut-free does not mean tree nut-free. Some of our products may contain tree nuts, such as almonds. Always review the product packaging for specific allergen information.
